I may have an advantage... the plants I bought at the size as seen in their first picture, from a garden center, and were already flowering a bit. Besides the dirt they came with, they're planted in coconut fiber substrate, and every weekend I water with Miracle Grow Tomato food.
Doh! I bought Miracle Grow All Purpose stuff because the Homo Depot was out of the tomato food. Do you have any planted in the ground? I have six in the ground and two in pots, but I think two of the ground plants need those tomato cages. Ghetto! Does your hubbs like tomatoes? Mine hates them...
No, my garden sucks butts, so I just have flowers in it. That hanging thing is the only tomatoes I have. I picked the top one as a "tomato bush", because the lady at the garden center said it wouldn't try to grow really tall. I think I was supposed to put the big tomatoes in the bottom, and the cherry/grape tomatoes in the top. Whoops! And yeah, Daniel adores tomatoes, and I love salsa, so they ought to get eaten up!

FIVE! Rats! I still have four plants that aren't even blooming, but they are like ten feet tall! Do you use Miracle Grow?
